Story Behind it.

Panic Attack Disorder effects many teenagers and also many adults. I was diagnosed with panic attack disorder at the age of 9, but my symptoms started showing at the age of 8. This disorder is not heard by many because not a lot of people have heard of it and do not believe this is real. You can get panic attacks from anything that scares you or makes you feel nervous and uncomfortable like driving on a highway, going over bridges, or even phobias. Only 0.7% of kids suffer from Panic/ Anxiety disorder and being part of that percentage effects me and the way i grow up. Waking up everyday wondering if your going to get one that day leaves you in fear all day and can effect you socially, physically, and mentally. Having this panic 24/7 is not what a kid, teenager, or adult should go through in everyday life. Kids go through this differently and are affected in a different ways then teenagers. Teens with this can feel as if they are living a dream or feel like they are dying, while kids do not get these symptoms or thoughts. Panic attacks are serious and can emotionally disable someones health.  Though this disorder can be treated by many different types of medications or psychotherapys, people with this disorder may not want to go through this and wake up everyday just to take medicine so they can live a normal life.
